China's largest capacity vacuum induction melting furnace was successfully developed

Shenyang Instrument Research Institute (Shenyang Instrument Institute), a subsidiary of the China National Aircraft Corporation, successfully completed a large-scale vacuum induction furnace project with a capacity of 2 tons. The furnace is the largest vacuum induction furnace independently designed and manufactured in China and has achieved domestic vacuum equipment technology. Breakthroughs have broken the monopoly of foreign large vacuum induction furnaces for the domestic market for a long time. The smelting furnace can realize the melting and forming of common steel, special steel, high-temperature alloy and other materials under vacuum conditions, and meet the requirements of new technologies in many domestic industries. The commissioning of this equipment will play an active role in the manufacture of high-quality products in the metallurgical industry in China.
