(7) Low modulus of elasticity: The modulus of elasticity of FRP is twice as large as that of wood but 10 times smaller than that of steel. Therefore, in the product structure, rigidity is often insufficient and deformation is easy. The solution can be made into a thin shell structure; the sandwich structure can also be compensated by high modulus fibers or ribs.

(8) Poor long-term temperature resistance: Generally, FRP cannot be used for a long time at high temperature, and the FRP of general-purpose polyester resin will decrease significantly at 50 degrees or more.
