There are two main methods for reducing the wear of parts. One is to use hard materials to improve wear resistance; the other is to use friction reducing materials to reduce the friction coefficient. This project uses laser non-equilibrium synthesis technology to add nano-hard hard wear-resistant phase (TiB 2 , TiC, WC) and friction-reduction phase (h-BN, h-WS 2 , h-MoS 2 ) to the surface of the material for rapid synthesis. The metal-based wear-resistant anti-friction composite layer combines wear-resistance and friction-reduction with the nano-wearing phase and the small size effect of the friction-reducing phase, which is a breakthrough in the field of surface engineering. Figure 1 shows the microstructure of the cladding layer. It can be seen that there are a large number of nano-scale h-WS 2 and WC phases in the cladding layer. The friction and wear results are shown in Figure 2.
