1. Installation of water softener and filter:

1. Installation requirements:

1) The water softener should be placed on a firm cement platform, and a drainage channel should be provided nearby, and the displacement of the drain pipe should match the displacement of the water softener.

2) The salt storage tank (salt tank) should be placed close to the resin tank, the distance between the two is not more than 200MM, and the length of the salt suction pipe should be shortened as much as possible.

3) When the water softener is directly connected to the heating equipment, the pipe spacing of more than 3 meters should be maintained and the check valve should be installed.

4) The storage of the salt storage tank should facilitate the replenishment of the regenerant.

5) There should be room for operation and inspection near the equipment.

2. Pipe connection:

1) Please refer to the relevant content of the local construction regulations for the connection of the pipeline.

2) Connect the inlet and outlet pipes according to the diameter of the control valve.

3) The inlet and outlet pipes should be equipped with manual valves. A bypass valve should be installed between the inlet and outlet pipes. A sampling valve should be installed at the outlet pipe. A y-type filter is recommended for the inlet pipe.

4) Minimize the length of the drain pipe, reduce the camber, and the distance between the control valve and the drain is no more than 2 meters.

5) When the drain pipe is connected to the drain pipe, it is necessary to keep a certain space between the drain pipe and the water surface of the drain pipe to prevent the live water quilt from siphoning back to the water softener.

6) No valves can be installed in the drainage pipe.

7) The connection of the brine pipe must be well sealed, otherwise it will affect the regeneration effect of the water softener.

8) Install an overflow port in the reserved hole of the salt water tank, and connect the plastic pipe (user-purchased) to the drain.

9) All pipelines must be provided with irregular and independent brackets, which do not allow the gravity and stress of the pipeline to be transmitted to the control valve.

3. Electrical connection:

1) Confirm that the electrical parameters of the control valve are consistent with the power supply.

2) Insert the plug into the mating socket.

3) The power outlet should not be controlled by a nearby switch.

4. Resin loading:

1) Before the resin is installed, the central tube collection tube (with water distributor) should be placed in the center of the resin tank. (At this time, the center tube is sealed with tape to prevent quartz sand and resin from entering the center tube.)

2) Put the quartz sand into the resin tank according to the gap around the central pipe of the specified amount, and make it flat at the bottom of the tank.

3) Put the treated resin (positive resin) into the resin tank around the center tube of the specified loading amount.

4) The above operation should keep the center tube at the center of the resin tank.

5) Remove the sealing tape from the center tube.

6) Align the socket of the control valve with the center tube and carefully turn the control valve clockwise. (Note: Before applying the action, apply lubricant to the center nozzle, make sure the center tube is inserted into the valve body) until the control valve is tightened on the tank interface.

2. Equipment trial run:

1) Slowly open the inlet valve to the 1/4 opening. (Note: if the valve opens too fast, the resin will be lost.) At this point, the sound of air from the drain can be heard.

2) After the air is drained, turn on the inlet valve.

3) Turn on the power, rotate the manual regeneration button, and follow the steps to turn the knob to the salt tank hydration position to replenish the salt tank. (Note: Check if the salt water level meets the design requirements)

4) Add the salt for regeneration to fill the salt. (Note: It is forbidden to use refined iodine fine salt as regeneration salt)

5) After the salt is dissolved (usually 4 hours), rotate the manual regeneration button to start regeneration once.

6) Put the water sample from the sampling valve for water quality analysis, and put it into operation after passing the test.

7) Set the time type or flow type regeneration cycle according to the operation requirements.

Maintenance and maintenance:

First, check:

1. Appearance: Whether there is obvious damage.

2. Circuit: Is there a short circuit or dropped line? And poor contact.

3. Time setting: Is there any deviation of the set value?

4. Parts and Accessories: Are there missing or removed.

5. Action: Rotate the start button to the backwash state to see if the motor is normal.

The action and position are correct. (No problem in determining the above items)

repair:

1. Appearance: The damage is seen on the original case and repaired.

2. Circuit: Refer to the instruction manual for repair.

3. Time setting: The minimum setting value is backwashing and washing is 1 needle for 8 hours, and salt absorption is 2 for 1.5 hours.

4, parts and accessories: If you lack spare parts, you can start the valve.

5. Action: (after determining that there is no problem with the above items), the position of the valve stem is consistent with the position of the motor. The standard operating position of the valve stem is: backwash; the spool is pulled out to a size of 2-15/16", salt and slow flushing; the spool is pulled out to 2", and the spool is pulled.
