3. The polishing process of serpentine was studied based on experiments. The effects of various polishing conditions on the surface gloss were discussed. The results show that the appropriate polishing agent, polishing time, pre-finished gloss, cooling method and polishing tool material can achieve a gloss of more than 90. This polishing process is simple, economical and efficient.
